I am always looking for the lesson to take away from a bad situation. This helps me find the positive in everything.
Last Saturday Andrea, some friends, and I went out to Lidia’s. Andrea has been wanting to go for so long and she was super excited.
The long and the short of it was that it took us 3 hours to complete our meal. The majority of the time was spent waiting and wondering what was going on.
The key take away from here as a business owner is to be transparent with your customers. If we knew they were really busy then it would have been fine and we would know the waiter cared.
I think I would go back because once we got our food it was awesome but I hope they fix the waiting and ignoring the customer part.
Was it management or the waiter that dropped the ball?
I think it was a little of both. The waiter for not providing the service and the management not ensuring that does not happen
