I have been studying entrepreneurs for a long time and throughout the process I have found there some business concepts I like and some I do not. I have never been one in search of tons and tons of money, I just want to have enough to have a nice lifestyle. I am not interested in growing a multinational corporation I have wanted something that will give me a decent income, freedom of personal expression, fulfilling work and time with my family. I recently figured out the term for this, a lifestyle business.
My coaching is based on creating the lifestyle you want through some creativity, some hard work, and some learning (essentially I want you to take back your life from everyone else). Also, based on my experience in the corporate world you will have a very difficult time attaining the lifestyle you want. This is why I sell owning your own business so hard, it is one of the quickest ways to take control of your life and have the lifestyle you want. No, starting a business is not going to be easy and most likely you will not become an overnight success but you can have fun in the process. First you need to learn who you are and what you like to do. Then you need to start learning about business and creative ways to start one (it does not need to be expensive). Click here, I have included some resources on my website to get you started. Another place to look is the website of Tim Ferriss (author of The 4 Hour Work Week and my new hero). He has a ton of information about designing the life you want and then finding work that fits around that life.
What lifestyle business are you going to start?
I couldn’t agree more. Many people have been conditioned to equate success with having more money and more things. But are you time poor as a result? Finances are just one metric when evaluating overall success.
